Your coach

An Olympian is reading your training files.

I spent more than a decade racing internationally on road and track. I held a world number one ranking, represented Ireland at major championships and rode the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Along the way I trained under some of the best coaches, physiologists and performance staff in the sport. I know what structured training looks like when it works, and what a race demands when it counts.

Since 2017 I have taken that into coaching, from riders finding consistency around a busy week to racers moving up a category.

  • Every session has a reason, not just more volume
  • I read your power data alongside race experience
  • Pacing, fuelling and tactics for the day that matters
  • Your plan moves when your life does

What is the difference between a plan and 1-to-1 coaching?

The £59 plans are structured, pre-built programmes you follow independently. If you want training that changes around your progress, feedback and schedule, with direct contact with me, 1-to-1 coaching is the better option.

Which training plan should I choose?

Build Fitness improves consistency, aerobic fitness and your foundation. Build Power targets sustained power and threshold work. Race Ready is for riders with a race, Gran Fondo or target event approaching. Unsure? Use Find Your Plan and I will recommend one.

What is the difference between 3, 4 and 5 days?

The goal stays the same; the weekly structure is adjusted around the days you can realistically ride. Choose the option that fits your normal week, not the highest number.

Can I train indoors or outdoors?

Yes. Sessions work on either, and most key weekday sessions take around 60 minutes.

How are sessions delivered?

Through TrainingPeaks. Compatible structured workouts sync to Garmin, Wahoo or Zwift. New to it? I will help you get connected. A free account is all you need.

Free 4-week strength plan for cyclists

Two sessions a week, around 30 minutes each, no specialist equipment. Plus my weekly emails on training, recovery and getting more from your riding.

Train with someone who has been where you want to go.

Tell me where you are and what you are aiming for. I will tell you honestly what it takes.
